Programming since 1997 — these days mostly Python and AWS, serverless and applied AI.

I love Python and I love AWS, and I enjoy combining the two into serverless, event-driven systems — somewhere between 500 and 1,000 Lambdas across the companies I’ve worked with. With colleagues and open-source enthusiasts I created sosw, a framework for orchestrating AWS Lambda.

Most of all, I love to teach — which is why SOSW also runs training programs for developers, alongside consulting and architecture design for complex web, event-processing, and data-processing systems.

    Ran IT for an international oil-equipment manufacturer — a Microsoft AD forest of 10+ domains, 50+ remote offices, and 10,000+ users.

    Customer service for a cloud-hosting provider: 24×7 help desk, and deployment and administration of customer web applications.

    Product management for a telecom systems integrator building software extensions for Cisco Unified Communications.

    Built the contact center from zero into a 24×7 service, then took on all of Tech Support (~30 people).
